Hi all, i will be coming down to your tuesday evening racing for a look at your track and have a chat with a few members in the next week or two, ive been looking at joining a club for sometime, and after taking time, ive decided on yours, I will be wanting to get a starter buggy for myself and the kids aged 9 and 11. But not sure where to start, i do have loads of tamiya stuff but its re-re or vintage mainly so looking for something modern. So whats a popular starter buggy in 2wd and 4wd. Also ive never raced before so what other items would i need to get started, i have lipo batteries (turnigy) but not sure what the regulations are for such things. we also use 2.4ghz radio. Do you ever run a vintage class etc.

Come down and have a chat before you decide which way you want to go. Where the young ones are concerned if you want them to race they might have a better survivability rate with a short course truck....

If you have raceable Tamiya's maybe there are others that might own similar, I could dig out the old grasshopper for a giggle!

We try and stick to BRCA regulations regarding batteries etc., LiPo's should be 7.4v and preferably hard case, Tuesday's are a club night and as such some rules slip under the wire.....

My cougar is in the for sale section,
perfect for club and if you want to do bigger meetings,
lots of support at the club as quite a few people run them,
its got the options you would buy so is ready to go,
