a big pub in a suburb of Liverpool was closed for a full refurbishment - completely gutted and re-everything'ed. The day after the opening day one of the brewery representatives was on a visit and commented on how he never noticed the dance floor on the plans for the re-furb'. It was then they realised the 'dancefloor' was actually bare boards showing through a gap in the carpet that was the exact size and shape of the 'front room' of local council houses in the area.
