No. that's summer isn't it? - cold dark and raining....
In the past we swapped to Sunday morning but I'd really like to get the place flood-lit. In fact, just the other day I was talking to a civil lighting engineer tat reckons using the latest technology in LED and Metal Halide lighting systems , you could light th ewhole track and pits area, efficiently for under a kilowatt - that means one of the little generators could just about do it - the drawback? about £3000 installation...but I'm working on it. |

yes its ok. Had a run today after we fixed the driving thingy (sorry) i got a tank through it and unfortunately stalled. Tried to restart it but engine is being tight. loosened glow plug but unfortunately its still tight. Nothing major i dont think but ill leave it till tue.
Edit
Just figured out what the drive thingys called. Its the steering knuckle that went. Ordered a new part from microtech its arrived and now ready for tue Thanks to matt for putting it on. |

Whats the format of the night? Organized racing or open track practice? I hope to make it, never driven a buggy off road before. :D |

What is the minimum age of people allowed to come to the practice night and drive on the track.
I will be coming along to have a drive around myself but I was wondering if I could bring my 7 year old nephew who is recently getting into the nitro monster truck scene.
He drives my car fine and wants to check out a proper track.
It would be good to give him 5 or 10 mins on a proper track in a non race, no pressure situation to see what happens, lol, if he seems to be doing ok with this then thats cool, if not then I will take him off myself.
I will be with him all the time and will take full responsibility for him.
Thanks

All ages are welcome, starting them young is the best way they learn quicker. Hopefully the weather will be ok but that is one thing we cannot control. |
