| ok people i want your honest opinion please i've been informed by another person on here that my driving is crap basically heres what they put (well from what i ve been told you do not know how to drive you just put fast engines in and get in the way when you crash. come back when you can drive)do you all agree with these comments? i know i have problems with my driving but who doesn't i've only been in this since December and i thought i had improved a little but it seems that most of the drivers have problems with me if this is so let me know and i'll have to rethink why i'm doing this when all i do is get in everyones way....sorry if this sounds mad but some people can't say things to my face and i'll rather find out on here thanks....i just find it insulting this hurts but some people don't realise what they put on here...it may be funny to them but not everyone has THEIR sense of humour |

I knew you'd have a poke at me!
In fairness to all, I don't think that anyone at the club is a 'bad' driver, admittedly, some of us (I include myself in this bit) aren't as good as the better drivers - but then I don't aspire to be a national/world class winner. I go racing at club level and that's as much as I need for my 'fix' - I go to do 3 races and if I finish all 3, great. If I place - bonus, if I win - probably a fluke.
If someone is really having a go at your driving ask yourself this question - "does the sun still shine in the morning?" My point Chris is, does their opinion really matter? Remember that there are people who will say these things to 'pysche' you out - you do OK, if you take every criticism to heart you might as well stay indoors. |

I should have been a counsellor - I read the other thread where I presume this all started - have you removed some postings?
If you've taken offence by what Pyrmaster (Wayne/Pat) or TNX (Ben) have said, then you do need your bumps felt...Now if someone like Pat Piesley (who is a grown up) said you were a lousy driver then I would take notice... |

| Its not that i've taken too much offence its a matter of other family members i.e. son and daughter have read things and kids don't have the same sense of humour as adults and find that no 1 likes me being around as they see it.Do you see what i mean grasshopper? |

| You got that wrong - the kids were probably saying THEY don't like you around - I get exactly the same from my kids, you get used to it. |

if your enjoying your hobby what does it matter what anyone else thinks?
you pay your money just the same as those that i guess are moaning.
my advice: take no notice, its only a hobby and therefore supposed to be fun
