hi Ian,that little heli was realy good,all he did was hover and it was realy stable,dont know what it would be like if he flew it around but it was very nice,i cant remember the chaps name with the mini pred,but he was hovering about last night and the pred shot up and down landed on the floor and birst into flames,he was trying to get to it to disconect the battery but the blades were going round so he had to watch the flames until the blades stopped,it was the speed controller,the chap who brought the heli that needs building of ebay for £60,sold it to him so hes taking the stuff out the mini pred and putting it in that,hopfully we will see next week if it flyes,

| Hi Mark. I went to newark last night, quite a few turned up and i had a good play with my new one. It hovers much nicer and more stable than my other trex, i am well chuffed with it so far. |

hi ian,iv not got any credit on my phone (been a naughty boy and my pocket money has been stopped)so i couldnt text back,i wont be going till after christmas as iv not got a car yet,glad to here your firt disapointment have turned into good news,iv got mine hovering around the garden,it still needs a bit of fetling,but its getting there,i think the battery might be fooked,i charged it up and unpluged the power but left the battery on the charger over night,it says its charged put the motor is pulsing,

Sorry just realised that oyu may not have been aware of the dates that NRCCC was racing and thereby when the hall is available for use...
The racing dates are normally posted on the NRCCC forum, but we are still waiting for the 2008 dates so as such we will keep racing until they say we can't have the hall.

Just a quick question to the Heli-boys. Would you like your own section on the Newark forum?
If so I will get Garry to create one. |
