Now then Ben, you beat me too it! If it is cut into small enough sections so it can be moved by say four people then it should work well. We must stay as a clay track for the majority of the season...that's whey the track is so good

It's still raining hard here so the track will definitly be water logged again

I didn't know that astro turf stopped clay from becoming waterlogged or the ground from being flooded but if it does then use it.

If any one wants to race tomorrow deerdale is open for the 2nd part of their winter series they are all astro so the weather will make know differance the gates open at 8 am and racing starts at 9.30. Saves sitting indoors with the wife for another day.

The track may still get some sitting water but it will be a huge improvement on the mud. This whole astro turf thing has been talked about for a long time now, we had a chance to get a load for free but nothing got done! I, as before will offer my works truck, (truck bed 4.1m x 2.4m 1.5ton) and/or trailer (2.5m x 1.2m 1.5ton) but it can only be used in the evenings or at the weekend. We just need one person to organise it.
