right i've got my transponder,the problem i have now is to many wires in the box,because it needed a Y lead theres too many wires to fit.How do i sort this problem?

Shorten the leads in the box or get a reciever with 3 channels.

Are you running a 4cell battery pack or humped 5 cell pack 4.8 or 6 volt,i would run a 5 cell as it gives you a bit more room to play with (not much more) also like was commented on a three channel receiver is a must aswell when there isn't a lot of room.
I would say that the major down side to the hyper 8 is that the designers forgot that the buggy needs radio gear to make it work

right i've managed to shorten the wires,will have a look tomorrow to see if its worked .....NOW looking at getting a 3ch receiver now lol

Can you use any receivers with the transmitter that i'm using already or do they have to match makes?

as long as they are on the same meg's ie 27meg or 40meg most will work together.ive got a ko handset and i use it with ko,futaba,novak,hitec,recievers with no problems.
