Hi Lee,
Currently we are suffering the ravages of the April showers - so are not racing properly as yet. A few are trying to meet up on Saturday afternoons (13:00 to 16:00) for a bit of a practice, all subject to weather conditions. Tuesday evenings (18:30 till can't see) are also a meet night, when the nights draw out and the weather improves we shall race every Tuesday evening.
We are a casual club with a great track - visitors are more than welcome and guests / non members are requested to pay £3 to use the track.- any of the regular members will help, advise (even when you don't ask!) and are genuinely nice blokes.
Check http://forum.a1racingclub.com/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=4 to see if anyone else is planning to turn out on the Sat afternoon or Tuesday evening and bring your buggy down - doesn't matter if it's the latest blinged up, hyper-kyosho-revo super bug or a budget RTR - we all started somewhere, the main objective is to get round the track and enjoy yourself. |
