thats a battery charger for rx batteries or other types of batteries if you want starter box the best one at the moment is the smd box that is what i use i use a 12 volt battery with it last me a couple of days racing i will fins a link for you.

they are nicd batteries they are nolonger allowed in rcyou would be better off using a seales lead acid battery as they last longer then others .

with them you will have to make your own box for it to sit in then set up your car on top it will end up costing you more then buying a new box
