British Radio Car Association. Its the governing body for the hobby in the UK. Like the FIA is to F1 and rallying e.t.c

Hyper 7 is a strong buggy indeed, ideal for starting out with. Spare parts are cheap and readily available. Plenty of upgrade parts available should you wish. There are about 6 hyper 7's at the club at the moment. We all help each other out with spares e.t.c if the need arises.
If you go for a brand new car, Id say you'd be looking at *roughley* £250 depending where you buy from to get you started. I cant tell you much about second hand prices, but I should think they vary alot.
If you can, Id get some diff oil aswell, as they only come with a bit of grease in them. Dont have to do it straight away, but dont forget about it either!
If your on a tight budget, dont worry about anything else just yet. If you have a bit left over you might want to get a better steering servo because the one in the car is a bit weak, otherwise just do what I do and upgrade bits as you break them :-D

when do you reckon you would be able to go? Reason why i ask is racing is on tues nights would you be able to make them? if you can't do many would reconsider buying because you might not get alot of use and would spend more time sat on the shelf

I have to agree with buggyrunner. Come to a race night first and see what its all about before you spend any of your cash. When I was at school I bought a 1/10 Tamiya S2000 with the aim of racing it. Long story short I bought the car, then realised I couldnt get to any meets... Drove it around a carpark for a couple of weeks, and its been shelved for about 7 years . Im not trying to put you off or anything, I just dont want you to make the same mistake as I did (spending twice the amount aswell)

Races start between 6.30 - 7.00pm. Finish about 9.00 - 9.30

My MSN is in my profile if you want to add me if you have any more questions e.t.c aswell as on the forum.
