Hi lyndon
Membership is £23.00 for the year asuming you have your BRCA already. This gives you reduced subs on a race night and free bash subs.
You can use the track at any time but this has not yet been finalised as we will be using special padlocks with keys.
Due to the cost of the keys and locks we will require a key deposit this will be refunded if you don't renew your membership next year after returning the key.
We have to be mindful of the security of the MX track and the farmers we share access with hence the keys rather than just using coded locks.
Hope to see you Tuesday. |

Chris, We used keys to start with but it gets expensive when you have to change the padlock when it jams, breaks etc. Just remember the more members you have the more cost it is to the club when you have to give out new keys. We now use a combination lock.

Cost factors aside, the advantage of a key is it can be policed a little better - combinations get pased round too easily. |

Hello, I'm a newbee, looking to possibly join your club and have some fun racing and practicing. I have just got myself a 1/8th Nitro Off Road Car so think this is the right club for me to join. I was wondering if i can come along on Tuesday evening to your club meeting this coming Tuesday 12th October, with my nitro car, and possibly join there on the night. Then have some practice laps and get to know what goes on etc. Would this be possible? I can get there a little earlier to sort out any paperwork. Also, if this is possible, will it be the full £35.00 membership for 2010, as we are now into October of this year?
I would be most grateful if your admin or fellow club members would advise me, and hope to be joining up soon. Cheers Graham |
