Hi people, just been rebuilding the truggy trying to get it all ready for some outdoor action and i have a steering servo issue. when the truggy is sat on the starter box with no weightload on the wheels the steering moves violentley from lock to lock without touching the wheel. But.. soon as i put the truggy on a surface and it has a load on the wheels the movement stops and steering appears to work fine again. my first thoughts were servos had it so i swopped it with the one in the hyper but the servo works fine in the buggy. checked connections doesnt seem to be any problems but i do remember Tom saying somthing about the radio tray on a losi causing servo problems?? or could it be somthing to do with the spek transmitter/receiver?? any help or pointers would be appreciated. or have i just made a stupid novice error when rebuilding?
make sure the servo is not touching the chassis on the bottom. also if its an ace servo then this is quite common for them called glitching. this is mainly due to worn servo gears. take lid of and clean them, re grease them and see if that works
hi, no its steering, and yes its an ace. But it doesnt matter what servo i put on it still does it. Must be somthing i have done wrong rebuilding it as it never had a problem before! just wondered if it was somthing to do with the spektrum setting or somthing daft like that???
iam going to re charge the battery pack tonight and try again, i did suspect it but wasnt sure as the throttle servo is working fine? On another note is anything happening tues night??
somebodys been busy!! Weather permitting i will come tues and lend a hand were i can. Can i have some directions? will be coming down the A1 From Newark direction.
