so far, and I think in the main, everyone will agree, the track has been built very well by people doing what they could when they could - Ok there have been a few c**k-ups and a few 'amendments' - but when the few people present at any one time made a decision it was good, and has stayed as made - If a single 'person in charge' was to be appointed would that not rub a lot of people up the wrong way - especially as we've got this far as a leaderless group?
Tracks only run one way because that's what they do - I read somewhere (and I forget the details) that one particular track ran different ways on alternate meets. The safety reasons are?
The last thing we need is a track building commitee,if the jumps are not right change them,if they are not right after that change them again,i dont think there is a perfect way of building jumps clubs just use what they have....
I think that when you all race the 'other way' the marshalls will realise and react accordingly - the novices and 'better' drivers would benefit as it would broaden their skills - it would be a bit like going to a different track. This is not a serious safety issue -but would add interest to racing at Gonerby.
