Looked alright to me......the trucks actually look quite impressive on the video. Nest time you bring your camera down, you'll have to try a lower angle close up. |

Well, I've bitten the bullet and bought one....but not a Striker. As I've had yet another birthday I chose via Access Models
http://www.rc10.com/ae/sc10/sc10_home.htm
I've gone for the Lucas oil (white) one - seeing as there's a family tie (in name only unfortunately). I just hope all my old Ni-mH and Ni-Cd packs will manage 5 minutes - Tuesday night will tell. |

Good news Phil, you gonna run the nitro and the electric side by side or are defecting to the dark side? |

YO, Ben......'bout time you made the trip back to civilisation!
So far, the SC10 has proved to be stable and easy-ish to drive, bit slow (compared to nitro) but I've had a few problems with my old cells so can't blame the truck.....I may have to invest in new ones - and if that's the case I'll go Li-po. In between service calls and chores this weekend, I've had a go at abusing cycling my old packs using my new fancy Venom charger for input and a couple of 540 motors with aero propellors for discharging....that might 'wake' them up a bit!!
One noticable thing about the SC10 - loads of grip on the astro, turns in really well and doesn't fall over that easily - or am I not driving it hard enough? |
