There is a possibility that I can get some Carbon fibre bits made for Hyper 7 Buggies. The parts would include the front and rear shock towers, the radio plate, the steering post plate and the centre diff cover. All would be 'water jet' cut from 5mm carbon fibre sheet.
There wouldn't be a major weight saving over standard - the main advantage would be in the towers not bending and of course the looks.
Cost per set would be a lot less than you would think, I'm trying to gauge numbers before I can determine price - it's the water-jet operator that's a major expense.
Would anybody be interested in a set? |
