Hi All
Time to start refurbishing the good old Hyper 7.
Does anybody have an alloy top deck/servo tray (whatever you call it) kicking around in exchange for a few quid?
Cheers

I'll drop the radio tray in for you soon - the pc's later - after I've cleaned up all the dross that the kids left on it before they left home, probably find that would speed it up and I didn't need a new one......but what the hell, can't take it with me and I'm not leaving it for them in my will!
Oh, by the way - as you have a Hyper 7, fancy a set of inexpensive carbon towers, diff plate and stuff to lighten / strengthen it and make it look cool? |

Hi Phil
How much are all the carbon parts that you had made? I could well be interested. There are still a few things i can repair/replace before i have to admit it's just very bad driving.

Price is not yet fixed, but it won't be anywhere as much as some are charging. I bought two shock towers and a centre brace for my Hyper ST and they were £40. Dependent upon how many sets can be tessalted onto a 1 metre square of 5mm 'pre-preg' - all we are to pay for is the water jet operatives time.....the material is hopefully free. There may be some drilling / counter sinking required - but I've ordered some new drill bits for that job!
I gave my 'contact' all the aluminium parts off my 'spare buggy' so there will be five parts in all - front and rear tower, centre diff top plate, radio tray and front plate. They will be thicker than the ally, about the same weight but they shouldn't bend like the metal ones do in a flip or roll - and they'll be cooler looking! More info as I get it.
