Hopefully it'll be the one with the 'police' SC10 in front of it! |

You'll have to do two races, one with the camera facing forward and then one backwards - it'll be interesting to watch as your truck gets rammed.... |

smack talk aside, I was planning on running 2 facing forwards and 2 facing back. Im hoping to get some interesting footage, Im just worried about the lighting, I cant look at the vids till I get home. Im thinking of trying it on the buggy next year, I think here is room to mount it on the 'windscreen', the only thing that worries me is the weight and amount of metal there is in the rallycross buggies but i suppose its designed for stuff like that. Its already taken quite a hit from a rock that got threw up by my front wheel on my bike. |

Great work Tom,
The video pointing forward is brilliant, love the fact you can 'feel' the roll on the truck around corners, the gearbox whine sounds cool too!
Wasn't surprised to see Chris facing the wrong way on the first corner... just spent 1/2 hour setting his truck suspension up after packing away, no more excuses!
Would be interesting to try one on the Hong Nor 4wd... probably be a lot of motion sickness though or more ceiling, floor, ceiling, floor... crunch! |

Shame it didnt stay on. The paint peeled off the shell. Hopefully I'll have a mk2 version in the next week or so. It will compromise of a sheet of clean polycarbonate bolted to the shell, with strong velcro attatched. Instead of using the sticky mount directly, it will have velcro on it instead, so in a big crash the camera can come free. I was toying with the idea of attatching it straight to the polycarbonate bolted to the shell, but as Phil pointed out, in a big crash either the camera or the bodyshell / truck will bear the full force of the impact and something will break. It was some interesting footage though!
Heres the HD version doing what its designed for...
