thats great stuntman, have you got anyware with the cabin...it's just want want want isn't it
I was thinking of something like Blaby for the fence, just a single rail and netting, should maximise the amount of wood we have got, and the netting will catch the cars making it safer than just a two rail fence and it will also mean it won't need a ground level kick board. |

Apparantly the fencing I am picking up tonight is a plastic fence which the forestry comission use around trees, It is 50metres long and 60cm tall, I will be having a look at the post and rail fencing he has got to see if there is enough. I will ask about the portacabin as well but his boss the owner of the cabins has just been injured in a mountain bike accident and is away being treated but I will remind my Brother to ask as soon as he is back. I will all so be picking up some scafold pole clamps. |

Has anyone seen the Maxbashing magazine? In it there is a great picture of the new Maxbashing track, take a look at the jumps. Can we get materials to build something like what they have? Maybe from wood and cover with astroturf! |

they do look nice, but if you find the video on there, there are nasty to drive over, you cant beat molded mud,the only reason they have done them out of wood is they have loads of big meetings and the mud jumps were falling to bits with all the cars,i dont think we will have that prob |

It's nothing special really, it just looks damn good. It's all about the presentation, their hose is all the same colour, the fencing is all the same, and they started on a nice piece of cut grass...we started on a corn field!!
Wooden jumps look good but rallycross cars need the muck that's what they are designed for, and I bet they are nasty to drive over and very unforgiving. Once we get the wood on the side of our jumps and get it all painted up it will look just as good. |
