Hi chaps,

Pleased to announce the following championship, as you can see, we will be holding the last round of the championship at our outdoor venue at Gonerby Moor.

7 rounds (5 to count for final scoring)

24th April - Moto Arena (Silverstone, Northamptonshire)

15th May - Eden Park (Beckenham, Kent)

26th June - NDOR (Near Ikea Nottingham)

24th July - Adur (Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex)

21st August - Coventry (erm, Coventry west mids)

11th September - Moto Arena (Silverstone, Northamptonsire)

25th September - A1 Racing Club (us if you can't remember!)

Hopefully we can get some club driver support at this championship, appreciate some of the meetings are a fair trek, but lets get a team together and go collect some trophies.

A1 Wreckin Crew on tour?

Who's up for it?

Tnx king

Nice one chaps, hopefully a few more A1 members will be keen.

Adur and Coventry are on clay/dirt tracks which i can't wait to try an SCT on, exactly what they are designed to run on, if its dry!

Tom, moto Arena is open 7 days a week, indoor tarmac track and an outdoor off-road track, they have had a hard time from us racers because of their 'in your face' blatent corporate nature to the venue, far more money making orientated than providing a good facility and service for racers, hasn't gone down well.

The Adur and Eden Park rounds will mean a fair bit of travelling, if we can get a gang together to share costs and driving fairness then it would be good?

Minibus if enough interest?

will have to be a big one to fit all of our trophies and prizes in ; ) (and Chris's supply of wheel nuts!)

How about some A1 Shortcourse team shirts being printed?

Could be done if I'm not working or on holiday.....That's my only issue with trying to do a series, getting 5 out of 7 would still be a tall order.

Shoreham's the furthest one at 210 miles, do-able in a day if you get an early start, Beckenham a mere 140 miles - just a jaunt down the road!

just checked with 'SWMBO' - we've already booked flights for the 23rd Sept - so won't even be available for our home race!

Thats the spirit young Grasshopper!

A lot of people will be in same boat Phil, especially with it being a national series and people having to work with financial situations, travelling costs etc etc.

you can still score points at any events you can attend, its all about having fun anyway,

Place your bets on which truck Iain will be buying next to compete? my 10p on a Durango 4WD!

Can you make 4 of these dates Phil?

May 1st Holbeach: 4wd buggy/SCT/open 2wd buggy
May 15th Broxtowe: 2wd buggy/SCT/open 4wd buggy
June 5th West Bridgford: 4wd/SCT/open 2wd buggy
June 12th A1 Racing Club(Grantham): 2wd buggy/SCT/open 4wd buggy
July 3rd West Bridgford: 2wd buggy/SCT/open 4wd buggy
July 17th Broxtowe: 4wd buggy/SCT/open 2wd buggy
July 24th Holbeach: 2wd buggy/SCT/open 4wd buggy
August 7th A610 (Near Broxtowe): 4wd buggy/SCT/open 2wd buggy

This is the BRCA 1/10th offroad mid east regional series dates, 4 best results in SCT count.
