That's it.....all rolled and ready to race.

we now have an extended track, the mother of all table tops and a few more jumps.

So, who's going to the first to drive it?

The track will be open from 11am until 3pm tomorrow for an initial shakedown and bash.

it does look ace and there is a lot of hard work gone into that corner, but why did you chose to have the step at the front and the drop at the rear,i cant realy tell from the pic but it looks like there is only one choise how you go up it,its not big enought to go up in one jump, then you just drop off the end,if the ramp had been on the front you could go wide and power down off the top and land on the lower step or cut the corner and drive down both the steps one at a time, you would have to have a choise how you enter and exit the corner
it does look ace though

Hi Mark, long time no see. you still electric racing? I think it was an effort at making the track a bit more technical. The drop off is steep but a buggy would still be able to climb it from either direction with no trouble. I think it may need reshaping but it is a great start, the track looks awsome.

Dave will be able to confirm this but, I think the idea is that you haver to "climb" up the ramp in a controlled fashion to stop people driving balls out and falling off the back. You then have the choice of driving down the back or jumping off.

It wil proably need a few modifications when we start to use it anyway. It could just to with some Astroturf to help keep the shape....

Every feature of the track can be approached from either side - that was decided so we could run either way round when we got bored - so 'Reg's comment is moot.

Question though: was there drainage put in with the digger thingy or do we still have a flooding problem?

its not moot, that was the reason you did it,it should make the track very challenging doing it in reverse
as i say nice job chaps

Reg, you do mean the circumnavigate the track in reverse direction, not car in reverse? never can be too sure about those from over your way
Integrale, not got used to the cold since you finally got released ! what was it good behaviour?...or you been picking the soap up in the showers?
