by any chance that anyone has a transmitter reciver and a set of crystal going spare dont want to pay silly money but will pay resonably.

If it's 27MHz you'd be happy with I have a spare set out of an RTR kit where I've replaced it with Spektrum. Depending on your budget -(and be patient enough to wait)- go 2.4Ghz ASAP, like Garlic bread, it's the future!

2.4 is still alot better as usually have built in failsafes (you even need them on an electric really) why not just get a second receiver for your spektrum set?
