Sorry guys I have to do this annoying thing called work! again all week, sitting in me lorry feeling bad I can't get down to help out but should be off most of next week if you need help with anything.
Did you manage to get the indoor astro? If you need to pick it up get a lorry any size and I'll go get it for you. |

looks good Ben, could we also replicate the straight table to in the same style as the BIG one in this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PbAgNsAdy0&feature=related
A short steep up ramp with a shallow landing ramp. Coventry dirt has a very big version which was a great jump and harder than it looked, it gave good air and was satisfying to drive when you got it right. I have some video from coventry and will try and post it.
I'm not sure what the rest of the wreaking crew thought of it? |

Trying to think which you were referring to so my opinions of Coventry jumps were all of them were good. Believe the tabletop your talking about was last jump before the straight? I struggled on that mainly through lack of grip. Also liked there step up/drop off corner which was a good section for either making or breaking a good lap with some good overtaking for the brave. Could definatley do with some "air time" to give the indoor track an extra edge, tabletop would be great for this as allows the newer driver to jump without having to clear a gap |

Guys, are you now racing indoors again for the winter? Still Tuesday evenings at Arena UK? Interested in coming down to race. Cheers. |

Will be soon Doc, they are letting us lay out a track in the bigger hall this year and it's down for the duration...no setting up and packing away every Tuesday! it's still a work in progress and we should be racing definitely by the 18th....bigger track, better jumps, table tops, 1/4 pipe wall of death type thingy....it's all looking good!

Corner table top jump. The Idea is to make all the larger jumps the same height so they can be shuffled about in unlimited combinations. Basicly a kit track! Any thoughts on the height? I sugest 800mm as with 2.4m long sheet material being the norm it makes for a good gradiant, also if we make a cross over jump there is enough room to crawl under for marshaling!

Woe what an evening, huge pile of work done thanks to the fantastic effort put in but the team last night. Almost there now, one final push on Sunday morning (about 9.30 onwards) to build the corner table top and a few finnishing off jobs. |
