i came and raced this tuesday and had a great time, i have just purchased a 10turn brushless reedy motor and a team associated rc10 t4.1 xp sc450 esc, any thoughts on this combination? it would be fitted into my blitz
Ummm yep! loads of thoughts - but mostly - stick it in and see what happens...
Is it an upgrade for a RTR brushed set-up? if so the speed should be a little better, keep the same gearing as your previous motor/esc combo to compare difference then make changes afterwards. Efficency should be higher so you should get better run times from the same battery pack - if you are running Li-po's make sure the low voltage cut-off facility is set on your speed controller failure to do this could damage your battery pack.
One assumes that you have all the instructions for said ESC? - makes it easier if you do. If not google it and see if you can find the relevant info on t'web, print and bring along...
