Been to a couple of practice nights now, really enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. I can't make the Tuesdays or Sundays through work though so this is as close as I can get to racing :(
Took my camera last night and grabbed some pics, its bloody hard work in those light conditions without a flash (didn't want to distract any of the newer drivers when its hard enough to get round the track without a mishap), so if you spot yourself on Facebook, feel free to tag.
When racing..? You obviously have an issue with the 'red mist'. It's when normally sane people get in their head the need to go flat out regardless, slow down and drive more defensively and you shouldn't crash out or break things so often.
See I know the theory - bloody shame it doesn't work in practice for me either!
Definately the red mist! I think we all suffer from it from time to time! Ive certainly found it decending recently as the 2wd SCT class is getting a very competetive field. One mistake can lose you a handful of places. I guess you just have to remember that driving hard will slow you down and try and control the throttle finger a bit! Just be glad that when you do crash it doesnt hurt (unless you hit a marshall)
