Some look good and some bad, I don't like the Durango one but I think that this one is one of the nicest shapes |

It would look a lot better if the cab was pushed more forward and extended the full width of the shell and then it covered the rear wheels with a flat part behind the shell and the front had a bonnet....something like this

now that's cool...we could call it a truck! |

Then you got space to carry your moonshine, banjo's and shotguns so you don't clutter up the trailer you live in...
Buggys are a bit more sophisticated than your redneck hillbilly truck racers... boi!
Although it now looks pretty Will, would make more sense to upgrade the weak plastic shocks and kit spings and turnbuckles to make it stronger and handle better for easier driving ; )
Function over Form wins races everytime, although we all like to have pride in what they look like.
The old saying "to finish first, first you have to finish" is also the fundamental for any type of racing.
The only thing you need to spend... is time practicing, your car is more than capable of doing the job as long as you don't hit things with it, as a wise gentleman said yesterday... no point in being the fastest car to the scene of the next accident!
Enough morals of racing for today... your challenge is to not damage those rear wheels... every scratch/mark proves a mistake! |

Shocks wise i would look for a good second hand set of Losi XXX CR threaded bodied ones, you will need the plastic collars that they sit on for the top mounts too.
Despite my sponsorship and love for the Losi's... their competition shocks have always been the best in the business
You could probably get a set for the same money as buying new Ansmann/Team C ones and they are much better quality plus have lots of tuning bits/springs available for setting up. |

No,
They are cheap aftermarket crap,
like these:
[
But those are slightly longer as they are for SCT/Stadium Trucks, but they are same design.
The ones you want come in XXX CR kit, don't bother with the older ones with screw tensioned spring height adjusters, although they are ok, the threaded ones are better and easier to adjust. |
