Hello, not been for a while, been a bit ill, still am, anyhow, trying to pass the time at home by resurrecting a Mardave Marauder and was wondering if anyone had any old spare parts to sell, or even a complete one. Let me know if I can buy any bits from you.
Thanks - Rod

Hi Rod, I had a Marauder about 18 years ago. It was mega fast in a straight line but no diff meant would not go around corners. Great fun though, all the best.

Can anybody remember what % nitro fuel this thing should run on? I guess feeding it 25% race fuel will kill it!

I used to run 10% in my marauder, I think it was a Irvine .21 with the standard twin pipe exhaust.

He did say 'used to'.....

but you can buy nitro fuel with differing 'nitro' content down to 5% but not usually used for model car use - aeroplane and helicopter fliers often use nitro fuels with lower nitro content and differing chemical make-ups depending upon engine use and requirements.
