Just got back from the first night indoors at the gonerby social club. Good racing, decent turnout, and most importantly great fun
Classes that worked well at the venue were the GT12's, pan cars, Minis and also the micro buggies and trucks.
Definitely need more people to turn up and join in the fun so make sure you bring your mates down with you to next weeks event
Well done to everyone on the A1 RC work party for pulling together and getting racing underway again :D |

Awesome. Lets hope I don't chunk my tyres this week, first minute was good, last four minutes not so good :-)
Racing was good though. You couldn't let up otherwise you would have someone on your tail all the time. Really good fun. |

The 1/18th micro SCT is a great little racer, the newest thing on track is the Carisma 1/14th true scale touring cars... Great fun and close racing, down to the drivers, not the budget! |

Hello Guys, came across your forum by change, we myslef and 2 others usually race down at Kettering, I live at welby, another at sleaford, and onother at Stamford, and came across your indoor venue by change when looking for details on the shop. We knew you ran buggys out doors but now see you run indoors on Wednesdays, so we will be along wednesday to give you a try.
See you all their.
Oh we all run TC 13.5.
And do you run a controle tyre? |

Hi, there is no control tyre. You are all very welcome to come along, we were let down with our usual indoor venue so we have had to make do with what we could get this winter. We are racing in the function room at Great Gonerby social club, Grantham, it is very small so it makes for some very close and intense racing! We use BBK race timing and we have hand out transponders if you require them, Wednesday evening racing is usually very relaxed and we all have a good laugh. Look forward to seeing you. Doors open at 7pm. |

Thanks for the info, we all run pt's. We usually race at Kettering, which isnt but bigger than yours from what I have seen from the pictures, perhaps 2 carpets deeper and a little longer, so we should be used to tight track racing, but think your track will be something else, but looking forward to it. |
