Just to let everyone know before the Chinese whispers get all mixed up and we end up being pilloried for running up huge debts, leaving people in the lurch, not returning repaired goods etc, etc,

A1 Hobbies Limited will be closing it's doors on 12th July.

Due to the continuing poor economic climate we have had to make the unfortunate decision that our situation has become untenable.
We have come to the end of our 2 year lease on the property, the budget limit has been reached and to move forward would need a serious commitment to both.

Just to clarify things and scotch any silly rumours before they start
99.2% of our stock belongs to us, we paid for things as we ordered so we owe nothing to anyone, any and all consumer bills will be covered. Any orders that were made will be filled unless notified otherwise, any repairs will be either completed or returned at no charge.

Many thanks to all who supported us, it has been a privilege and a pleasure to serve you. Those of you that used to pop in for repairs will still be able to get some help - you all know where I am on a normal working day....so if there's that plug that needs soldering or bit that needs sticking....pop in or see me on Club night.

Regards to all...

Lewis Talbot & Phil Smith

Sad news to hear happening more and more with local shops. - I've only been in to you a few times and you have been more than helpful with either having spares in or offering advice.
