Hey guys, just got a few questions about membership.

1) Do i have to be a certain Age? (im 15 - mature 15)
2) How much does it cost to become a member?
3) Is it only event nights when your can thrash around on the track?

Im asking these questions as me and a mate are buying some nitro cars as we're bored of our electrics and we're just enquiring about this club, even though your about an hour away from us, your the best we've found up to yet.

Thanks, Andy

Hello andy membership is £35 including brca which is your insurance when you race .you can race 3 times without it becouse you get to try it out on the clubs brca insurance or you can get it yourself by downloading the form from brca website of which costs £12 that means that you can race at any brca club in the country.
We have meetings on a sunday and in the afternoon we have a bash were some members help out the poeple that are new and give advice on how to drive around the track and set their cars up , There is no age that you can not race .if you wish the club will send the form of for the brca and that will cost you £35 but is you wish to send off for the brca yourself the club membership will cost you £23 for a year.what car are you thinking of getting most of us that race use a bruggy or a truggy .Next week we have a big meeting at the club you are more then wellcome to come and have a look at the track and ask for advise on differant cars and have a good day . carl

Thats a good truggy i race one aswell but mine was a rtr it is no more i have hopped it up a fair bit they are strong cars and the parts are cheap if you break a part plus most modal shops stock parts for them. the rtr comes with a force 28 engine the only parts i can say change is the steering servo put a higher toque one in its place and get a fail safe for it and you will need 3 sets of crystals for it in case you clash with someone else or buy spectum. Good luck and hope to see you soon carl
ps the track is only for 1/8 modals

Hi Andy there's no on road. Tell your Mate that he will be traveling miles all over the country to race his Baja as there isn't many tracks as they cut tracks up very badly
