The club membership for 2007 is now due.
The membership form and BRCA affiliation form can be found on the main site under the http://www.a1racingclub.com/downloads.html section.
We have taken the decision to start membership mainly for the insurance requirement as the club is now getting more and more drivers on a Tuesday evening. |

Do I take it that visitors have a certain number of 'membership free' visits before thaey have to commit to payment of an annual charge?
You realise where I'm coming from on this one - nitro racers are known to be a bit mean.... |

So how much is memebership....
Existing BRCA and non BRCA ????
Is there a junior membership ???
How many times can you run before becoming a A1 member ??
If you don't join A1 after set amount...Will you not be allowed to race..?
Is there a fammily membership. ???
Sorry for all the questions but I might need to join 3 members at both clubs and will get very expensive ? |

I will check the regs, but as a rule you can race three times before needing to join the club, again it's all abou the insurance.
I think memebership is also good for showing a comitment to the club and giving it your support, afterall this isn't a cheap sport at the best of times and neither is runnning a decent club.
There isn't a junior membership as really a junior member gets exactle the same benefits as a senior member, thats why race subs are the same.
There isn't a family membership at the moment but I don't see why there shouldn't be one.
Maybe we should discuss junior membership and family discounts ASAP as the more we can encourage to join the club the stronger the club will be.
Lets have everbodies thoughts

It has been brought to my attention that some regular attendees have not yet paid their annual club dues.
The un-written rule is: three visits - then join and pay.
If you are one of those people it would be nice if you paid up like the rest of us. We've all done stuff to help the club, volunteer labour, materials, sponsorship etc., etc., but the majority have also paid membership & BRCA subs where appropriate. We even pay to race on Tuesdays - there are NO exceptions - do the right thing.
We shall have to instigate a supplement for non-members, £6 on a Tuesday evening and £5 for members - and you have to produce your BRCA membership card to get the cheaper rate. what's your opinion?

Don't have the BRCA membership to get cheaper rate because they might have that already and would still pay £5,just charge them £7 regardless in my opinion
If people come and join half way through the year why not give them half price membership |
