hi everyone ive come down to the track several times and really like the track.Our club has now ended through planning and sound issues so we are looking to come and race with you.Unfortunately most of us have petrol but they go round your track well!! if we can race we,d love to come on tues min of 5 cars
Also i see you want help with astro turf and we may be able to help

What reasons did NKDC give as it's not like the track had many neighbours
Pretty much in the middle of nowhere really
I know it won't help much but I thought if you don't do any permanant fixtures
and didn't use it for more than 28 days p.a, you didn't need planning consent?? |

G'day Tye,
Sorry to hear of the loss of your facility - we know how difficult it is to find and maintain a track.
Whilst we only use 'little cars' and you have 'big cars' I think I speak for everyone at A1, WELCOME!
As long as you are willing to muck in and repair some of the damage you WILL cause, Come on down!
We have actually got a couple of guys that have 1/5th but don't come down as they got bored with only racing each other. Now you're intending on making up the numbers it would be quite interesting - it also gives longer between other heats for socialising and repairs. Might be an idea for some of us old codgers that can't see our current vehicles at the furthest reaches of the track! |

hi everyone thanks for the replies obviously it was too wet on tues so we didnt come down! We all muck in very well as you can appreciate we built our track and stand to a good standard.we were closed down by a house 1/2mile away they complained about the noise then put a notice on us for no change of use to land!the owners business was under threat so it had to stop.We had an excellent following and its such a shame to have lost it.
anyway as soon as possible we'll get down hopefully tues and should see you sunday meeting

Hello Tye.
Just want welcome you to A1 Racing Club, if your wanting to race on a Tuesday, as like the rest of us {Weather Permitting}. If you can arrive there around 5.30/6.00ish, it will give you a chance to get a practice in before the heats go up.
