looks okay to me - just be sure it's got readily available & reasonably priced spares.
Is it a new model out? I'll admit I'm not up on what's current but that looks 'sweet, cool, jammin' and whatever other words that denote good in todays youth culture lingo.

At an RRP of £199 that's a good looking machine/package - I wouldn't bother with the roto-start upgrade, if you're looking at electric starters (and the trophy has a pull start - leave it on as a back up) - go for a starter box then even if you change buggy you canstill use the box.
Alternatives to this are the usual Hobao / hong nor / lightning - according to budget of course

tbh i love the car for the price and as you say spares are a big thing because its a new car not many places supply spares so if the amount and avalbility of spares rise ill def get it and also i thin cause its so cheap ill keep the pully on and get a starter box as someone said to me the other day cause i started with a truggy itll be hard to convince me to get a buggy but just look at it also it unusual hpi to bring a buggy and if you read it says its to help racers start out on a budget ouch got cramp ill end it here! lol

it looks verry mutch like the hot bodies lightning with hpi stickers on it ,
if so the parts from the lightning will fit and they are cheap .
looks good though

Hi Peter

As I have just posted on another thread. I can't comment on the HPI but I would try and go for a car that is easy to get spares for and other people either use or have experience of.

Depending on budget the HoBao Hyper 7 TQ Sport RTR is a good car and might be worth a look. There are a lot of HoBao's down the club so spares are easy to borrow.

Smart choice - popular, good reputation and good backup. Was thinking of one for myself, when budget (and wife) allows!

the only thing about a rtr is the steering servo i would change it for a ace/xp as soon as you can.
