HI Steve

anything by HoBao, maybe something like the Hyper 7 TQ Sport RTR. I believe Steve at Access Models hase some in stock.

Nice and cheap to start with and easy to get spares for.

You can almost be certain to get a spare trackside as well. The only major thing to change out of the box is the servos. I think most would agree with me?

I think there is another thread started by Pfleety about the HPI? Probably a very good car but it often pays to get a car the same as everybody else when you start out. It makes things easy when tuning and borrowing spares!!

I went Hobao Hyper 7 for that reason - and it's proved it's worth, minimal damage and breakages, keeps up with other more 'exotic' stuff on the straights, would probably do corners better if it had a better driver.

Run your truggy for a while to get your hand / eye coordination in, they can usually accept a bit more abuse round the track than a buggy, then change when you've had time to check out all the other choices.
