There may be the possibility of some INDOOR Sunday racing. Or back to Gonerby when the new track is finished.
We are going to make a start on clearing the site Sunday morning if you fancy lending a hand for an hour or so?
We are trying to sort some dates out for Sundays. Watch this space basically.
If it's transport that's a problem Tuesday. There will be some car shaing going on. So just shout. |

The member's that are unable to make Tuesday's aren't forgoten about - Sunday's indoors at Laughton Manor will not be a regular event - mainly due to the fact that weekends for them are taken up by their main interest - horses.
Sunday mornings at Gonerby Moor, as they were last year will be possible only when the track is sorted out or with a continued bout of dry weather. Following the recent wet weather I'm sure the track will be a quagmire again - and therefore no racing.
It seems strange that Tuesday evenings are now such a no-go for so many - they managed to attend club nights at Gonerby Moor through the 'summer' where we had to suffer rain and mud. I recall the comnplaints when racing had to be cancelled due to the bad weather. Now we are indoors, same night, guaranteed racing - where are they?
Laughton, near Folkingham is 20 miles out of Grantham, and even if I drive like a Granny it only takes me 25 minutes. I, like a few others have offered lifts to keep costs down - and for those that don't have transport - no response.
None of you have been forgotten - it's just that, as just a group of volunteers, we are doing the best that we can for the majority. |

Thats the same for any body coming from Lincoln on a Tuesday evening, its 28 miles and only takes 40 minutes. i found it to no problem. Then when your there you have a place which is under cover to race with, and hot food/drinks are also available from their cafe. So if your worried about missing out on your Tea, you can always get something to eat from there. |
