Just wondered if theres a specific set of writtenn rules for the classes? For example, are the buggies limited to .21 engines, or could someone run with a .28?

Cheers, looking at Hyper 7 RTR's at the moment, the TQ28 isn't much more than a TQ21.

As yet, there are no specific rules laid out. Some unwritten rules, more common sense do exist and seeing as you've asked, see if you agree with the undernoted

Safety first.....always
1. Frequency allocations and use of peg board - when you switch on - make sure you've got the relevant peg
2. Failsafes - should be fitted unless your radio has a built in facility.
3. Marshalling - everybody's favourite - do unto to others as you would have them do unto you - Do yours when you're supposed to.Everybody knows someone who doesn't - moan at them and remind them.
4. When being marshalled - throttle down and apply brake - it avoids crap in eyes and sore fingers
5. Lapping - when being lapped - move over (I do this.... a lot)
6. Take your transponder back as soon as your race is over.
7. Clearing up at the end of the night - we've all paid to race - yet it's always the same few that lay out and clear up..

At the standard that we are racing at, the difference in engines won't necessarily mean you'd be a consistent winner if you had a big one...there are many other variables that you need to take into account.
If there's anything you think I should have added let me know.....we might even print them off ..

Yeah yeah - read the last paragraph - the rest was just an opportunistic attempt at setting ground rules and having a moan...especially 3, 4 and 7.

(did you get any gear from your mate George? )
