I had a loose conection on the switch on the box,and the car cut in the final and mark was running all over the place to get it running again,i think it was running a bit to lean on the bottom end so ive richened it up a bit to see if that cures the cutting out....

Running the same set-up as in an open car park won't necessarily be the same for indoors at the arena....

36th Birthday ?....as I said..young Andrew, come on down and bring who you like...the more the merrier

yes I've got problems with mine - originally thought it was a lack of tank pressure - but just think it needs setting up - it is still running factory settings.

I brought a second truck and since the day i got it ive had nothing but trouble. I had to replace just about every thing. expensive learning curve!!! but i think ive about sorted it out now. My truck was running wonderful while on my own, the next day my in-laws came around to see it and it ran like a bag of nails, so i reckon my truck is shy, so you cant actually blame me if it does'nt run well at the meeting.

That, Truck-load is why I wouldn't buy second hand - somebody had a reason for selling their old one....bored, broken or not quick enough - then you buy it and have to fix it and spares cost lots, upgrade parts even more so..as you said expensive learning curve

grasshopper,if you know what you are doing you can save loads buying second hand,i paid about the same for my hyper8pro with a rossi p5 and all the radio gear as you would a hyper8 rtr,if you know what to look for you will end up with a good kit at half the price

That's the problem Reg, I don't really know what I'm doing - but what the hell, it's a hobby I enjoy...

Now this question about tyres is similar to one asked in another thread - I find round black ones excellent for our track

You could race your savage if you don't mind being beaten by a Revo...
