Well, take a couple of weeks (well three actually) off and the place closes down...!
Only found out this evening that Tuesdays at Laughton are cancelled until the new year - due to diminishing numbers, bad weather and Christmas. What a bummer!
Hopefully, with all the work currently in hand with our car park we can possibly get off to a flying start in the spring and get a full seasons racing in, not only on Tuesday evenings but at the weekend's as well.
I'd just like to add my sincere thanks for the support you've all given through the year, the tremendous effort put in to 'astro' the track, supplying both labour and materials, the knowledge and the moral support. The regular attendees both at Gonerby and at Laughton have all kept the club ticking over - hopefully to make us stronger in 2010.
There should be a list of special thanks for those that have given over and above the 'call of duty' but you know who you are.
Still, as it's that time of year, can I be the first to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, a prosperous new year, and all the things that you wish for yourself and your families.
Looking forward to racing against you in 2010 - Cheers Lads!!
