Hello
My name is Andy, and I'm from S****horpe.
I'm new to the RC racing scene, but would like to have a go at racing for fun, and as you chaps are the nearest track to me I thought I'd join.
There are 3 of us, me, my brother and his son. Between us we have the following cars, and we were wondering if there would be classes suitable for them.
Hpi Trophy 3.5 buggy (or hotbodies lightning 2 same apparently)
Traxxas Rustler 2wd
Cen Funfactor 4wd(monster truck type thing)
Thunder tiger DT-10 2wd
Schumacher XTR3e 2wd
We'd like to join, and have a practice and a watch before we race.
Looking through the forum it seems that there is a meeting on the 24th of jan at the outdoor track. Would this be a good meeting to watch, and would we be able to join on the day?
Can someone hold our hands as we'd be a bit overwhelmed

Hi Andy,
I've seen the Hpi Trophy and yes it's a definite on that one, the others.....pass, maybe someone else might know.
As regards the meeting on the 24th, don't turn up unless you know it's on for certain - keep an eye on this forum, we are having carpark issues and with the recent snow-melt we may have a lake rather than solid ground!
As regards someone to 'hold your hand' or other assistance - no problem,there's always help at clubs - whichever one you join! |

heh, let me know if your going, I might tag along. It might also be worth looking at attending one of the evening races at the Equestrian center?

Unfortunately due to the recent weather (the snow and then the thaw) we still don't have car park access unless you have a 4x4, hovercraft or boat so Sunday 24th is off.
