Sorry you didn't make it Mark, enough of us did to make it a pleasant evening, unfortunately I was pipped at the post by a Lousi, but you can't win them all!
Racing will take place next week at Laughton Manor - we are already booked in, look forward to seeing you next week. |

| Our cars were very even Phil. Good race! I thoroughly enjoyed it. |

Actually was suprised there Tom, whilst we use the same engines, I would have thought that yours would have been quicker as it's supposedly lighter. Admittedly, my car is not that well set up - more or less 'box standard' settings, if I knew what I was doing I could probably make it handle better, then it would just down to bettering my driving skills!!
We shall try harder next week....! |

| Yes i will be there for sure next week, somthing must have changed since i last came across.... a losi racing indoors ?? i thought the club was the "hyper 7 club" as near as dam it every car was a hobao of some description! i must admit i do like the losi but no point me having one as i cant drive what ive got yet, my 5 year old sons better than me! |

| I get loads of stick for ditching the hobao, but the 8ight was a price I couldnt turn down, else I would have probably got a hyper 8.5 instead. Indoors I think any car is competative as the track changes every week, its more about how quick you can learn the track. |

It's like a lot of clubs - a couple buy what's available, get used to it and then recommend it to all and sundry. Before you know it everyone's got one. As we are mostly club level racers, until we try racing elsewhere and seeing what everyone else is using most of us will stay brand loyal - it makes it easier to borrow bits...
I'm still of the opinion that I'm not yet up to the standard where an all-singing,all-dancing super buggy/truggy will make me a consistent winner. They say that a bad workman always blames his tools, I'm more honest than that - it's definitely me at fault! I'm there for the fun - winning would be a bonus. |
