Possibly Alistair, but whoever buys a kit to build is usually like you and enjoys the building. Those that don't would more than likely buy RTR.
Have a word with your local model shop and offer your services - around christmas time they might get a few parents wanting cars built for younger kids - and possibly through the year for birthdays. Whatever you do, don't buy just any kit and then try to sell it after building it, it would still be second hand even if not run. Do commission work only, and learn to paint the bodyshells.. that's about the only difficult bit where a kit's concerned. |
