Evening, be nice to welcome back some old faces......any faces would be nice actually, numbers have been dwindling as we approach spring / summer. Can we have some committed numbers for tomorrow please...

It's NOT the place across the A1 from our outdoor track - it's towards Sleaford, another 17 miles east of Grantham.
Please check on here before travelling any distance to see if we're racing tomorrow, Tuesday 13th - if we haven't got sufficient numbers then it'll be a no.
Alternatively, PM me with a mobile phone number and I'll text you tomorrow afternoon to let you know the situation. |

I've had news from the powers-that-be.
Racing at Laughton is off for tomorrow night.....Dammit!
It seems that we are racing at Laughton until the end of this month
So hopefully we'll see you all next week (Tuesday 20th), please try and attend, we have things to discuss relating to the outdoor season. |

Tomorrow evening (20th April) is supposed to be the last indoor meeting - if you can make it please do, it would be nice to leave Laughton for this winter on a high note.
All those in favour please respond in the normal fashion.... |

Well that's it Chaps, winter season is officially over - last night was the last indoor meet for this year.
Next week (27th April) a few of us are planning to turn up at Gonerby with the intention of doing a bit of maintenance - probably more 'gassing' than working. as early as you can make it please, bring tools and gloves - and refreshments as we've no facilities like at Laughton!
Please be advised: Only those that do a bit of labouring can use the track....so don't think that you can come down and 'free-load' |

Sadly we still have a few hundred tons of hardcore in the way.
Maintenace again this week, with time for a bash after.
We are expecting the digger this week sometime now.
On another note can anyone bring creosote brushes please. Pit ramp and surrounding woodwork needs a coat again. |
