Not that good quality...light was getting a bit low...but here you go.

Have delivered 250m of yellow hose down today. Still need a way of fixing it down though? I have got about 50 treated wooden stakes (2"x1"x16") we can use but we need more. Can anybody get hold of a few hundred large cable ties? |

What length cable ties do you think we'll need?

The cable ties need to be about 12" long! The bigger the better. Or has anybody got a better idea on how to fix the hose to a 2x1 stake? I have got a digger available for Monday, wheel barrows would be good if anybody has one. Will try to get a small roller to if i can. |

with the tube fixing,if you get some thin bits of bar 13" long, fold them around the shape of the tube, then just hammer them into the ground,if you get the bar thin enought it will sit inside the ridges of the tube,

The tube has no ridges, it is smooth faced. How about if we put a nail in the back of the stake and tie it on with rope? the nail would stop the rop coming off the stake and stop the tube lifting. |

A good way to do it would be to get some old tyre inner tubes, cut them so you end up with a circular bit of tube, pull it round the tube then over the stake. Being rubber it should not slip to much. Easier than string and Cable Ties. |

Ian don't worry about the cable ties I picked up 10 bags from Senate Electrical on the way home. They are the biggest they do and I think they are about 12" long, I will try and get them to you with the cash for the hose before Monday..... |
