I sent you my number if you get stuck for a lift or need help - that's the good thing about this sport, everyone helps when they can...
And it's a shame you did't come down - not too many people but the racing was good, a few new faces again and they were more than complimentary about the quality of the track and layout in general. weather was a little cool and drizzly - but a good night nevertheless. |

My first visit and it was great racing, this is going to be a popular track when more poeple know about it, hosting the emnorc should do it. I got a good buzz and hope to be down again after the nnrc weekender. |

It's now January 2008 and before you know it, Spring will be here, the evenings will be lighter and Tuesday's will be race night again!
Ever the eternal optimist, I've noticed that when I leave the office around five it's actually staying that little bit lighter everyday (clouds notwithstanding!) Gone will be the dark nights, and instead of building the track early in the year as were last, it will only be maintainence - and there will be no packing away at the end of the evening like there was at Arena and at the Mucky Duck - do we all realise how lucky we are? to have a track so close to home, the culmination of our hard work and dedication - Now all we have to hope for is decent weather - what a cracking year to look forward to!
Don't forget to sign up (and pay)for your membership - it'll not happen without the funds to back it up.... |
