Well it seemed rude not to!

I thought the orange was far more visable for my failing eyes!!

Not sure if I'm gonna get it ready in time but you never know.

I called in to Access and have seen your Blitz, if the RNLI think that colour is good for visibility at sea in a storm then It must be good for you!
As it's an RTR truck you have no excuse for not being ready for Sunday.
You wanna borrow some batteries?

Surely you can manage to get it out of a box in 3 days Chris!

As Grasshopper says, its RTR!

We've got enough batteries and chargers between us all to keep you running, i'm sure we can manage to get it on the track whilst you are looking after race control, or vice versa...

What you need now is a LiPo charger or some SCT minispikes... ooooh there just happens to be some of those in a raffle!

What to you mean RTR! If I'm in it, I'm in it to win it!!

Lewis putting brushless 'lectrics in it tomorrow for me. Just got to get the KO receiver and PT fitted Saturday.

Just going to have to blag a charge until I get the protrak sorted.

Any idea if the stock steering servo is gonna be much cop? Or am I better putting one of my ACE servo's in?

I'm sure if you left it well alone you'd stand more chance of a result....but you boys, always have to play about and try and improve things !

Ditto, keep it on its wheels and keep lapping for 5 minutes and you'll do better than high speed out of control bouncing it off every hard object/hose on the track!

If you win it Chris, i'll eat the astroturf pile... in one sitting!

It might have been quick enough out of the box, haven't seen a Blitz running yet have we?... the Slash, Phil's SC10 and Adam's Strike are all pretty much the same speed anyway, we did some track straight drag testing and there was nothing in it.

If you are getting the same kit as Lewis then maybe you don't want to know that my truck was faster than his in a straight line anyway, with the RTR kit!

I've fitted a Proline 'handling package' and some new boots to the Slash today, thats just to sharpen it up and new tyres were necessary cos it has specific offset wheels to get them under bodyshell, can't wait to test it on Saturday.

Have put the cheapy 13T motor in but only as the kit sealed bushed one is slowing down after a fair few races, its cheaper to get a 13T modified than to replace the stock motor, typical!

Will be good to see you racing on Sunday anyway, bring on the dry weather and we'll have some fun.

Not intending to go flat out like that mad Hong Nor from Skeggy but would like a chance of at least being competitive!

You maybe right about the stock setup, we shall see tomorrow...

Well since you were hand delivered a fully prepared 'Lifeboat' stylee truck today, with all the kit to run it, by a really handsome but balding Chimp... see you on the grid Mr S.... may your bodyshell bear the scars of many battles and see you at at the finish line!

Its quite funny your truck is now nicknamed 'Lifeboat' as you could have sailed it on the track earlier after the downpour last night!

actually, i could have done with some rescuing after my new motor was gushing out smoke... was really worried, thought the LiPo pack had gone bang! never ran down the rostrum so fast!

Well the good news is that my tyres and handling kit work really, really well, tyres are absolutely brilliant in waterlogged conditions and the stock kit motor has to go back in, wahey, can't wait to get some truck racing done.

Quiet because it's an electric meeting as opposed to a noisy smelly one when the nitro's are running. Yer numpty!
Why do some people always think of the worst scenario?

Mind you, the less that turn up means the more chance of me placing in the top five rankings and winning something on the raffle

From what I hear you'd still be hard pressed to finish top5 if you were the only entrant
