No need to apologise Pat - you've done more than your share - just a shame you missed the racing on Tuesday - excellent evening! |

No-one will disagree with you - but there is a safety issue with the rostrum that needs resolution, with the increasing numbers of people attending - Safety must come first. |

Chris is asking if we are going to have a major work party to tidy up this weekend Saturday 9th June, and I quote:
"can we try and get a big work party aranged for Saturday, so we can get things finished?? I think the jobs list goes like this?
1. Level ground and move race control cabin. 2. Skip rubbish from cabin. 3. Finish laying yellow hose and complete fixing with inner tube. 4. finish laying TRAM and shavings 5. Still some scaffold poles need finishing on rostrum and make safe all cut ends. 6. Wire in PA, coax cable for loop and install speakers. 7. Finish painting everything green assuming somebody can get across to Nottingham and pick the paint up. 8. Paint toe boards on rostrum with Fencecare.
can anybody think of any more?? If we can get everything we need this week and get a lot of people down this weekend then I think we can get it finished?"
All volunteers and pressed (wo)men add names below
