Nah - we did absolutely nothing but played all day!
A lot more terram has been laid and a lot more road planings (albeit thinly spread - we may need some more) to tidy up the infields. Chaz 'acquired' some very nice hazard warning boards and they now have replaced about 20m of the yellow piping which has now been used elsewhere - to remove more of the knackered blue stuff.
The track has been strimmed again so as to make the edges more visible, the cable is in for PA, and extensions for video screens if we can ever afford them - and the area of race control has been cleared and levelled for Chris's kennel - Apart from that we that turned up (Pat and Paul, Chris and Josh, Carl and the Champ (another story) Dave and mate (new driver & member) Spendy (eventually) and Chaz and me ) did sod-all (except when spectators turned up) , how was your day?
(if I missed anyone of the list - sorry - it's an age thing.)
sounds like you all had a good day!! my day ws not very good had the worst interview i have ever had but anyways look like i will be travelling from spalding for a bit longer... See you all tuesday
just a thought about moving the "kennel" as it is going to take a lot of manpower to move would it be worth trying to do it one evening this week as hopefully more people will be able to come down to help????
