yeah starter box will have 2 7.2v nimh stick packs with it, brand new schumacher mini spikes on wheels, 2 sets of fastrax wheels and tyres, nearly full big bottle of 25% byron fuel, various spares, arms shock towers etc, has a spare engine which im just waiting for a new backplate for (lrp z21r engine) will have a throttle/brake servo in still, this is a savox digital servo. has brand new body shell fitted, spare diff oils, new exhaust system fitted, (LRP enduro 46) , has new air filter fitted and new fuel lines fitted will include the specific tools for the car too, the car has the uprated CNC steering knuckles and the CNC shock towers |

Blimey Jake,
slow down a little matey, you need to get used to racing before trying everything possible.
Don't buy that thunder tiger electric buggy, they are rubbish.
The mad monkeys are good, basically a mid motored madrat, but a Mad Rat will be easier to get used to for starting with.. as the rear motored cars are easier to set up and drive more predictable.
Madrats are the best starter buggy and are competitive at all levels, there were a fair few running at the BRCA Regional today.
But you definitely need to get used to getting the Blitz round without crashing before running an electric buggy, they are very precise to drive and break easily, especially if you bounce of hoses and other cars etc all the time... plus they use tyres very quickly compared to an SCT.
I've got an Ansmann X2C and my madrat that i need out of the way, but am going to offer them to Dave C first as he runs an Ansmann already and would then have plenty of spares to play with to keep him going. |

Will talk on tuesday, i don't do business on open forums either way ; )
But my madrat might be staying with the X2C as a spares package as a lot of parts are the same, will see, they are both rollers so would need electrics and those hobbyking 5000 lipos don't fit too well in madrat
although i have some stick lipos that are no use to me either as capacity is too small for 4WD trucks but was also going to be offered to Dave C today as he is keen to race at proper meetings so will need BRCA legal stuff more than club racers.
concentrate on getting that Blitz round the track cleanly, learning how to maintain and set it up and learning racecraft, thats the most important thing, it applies across the sport, the SCT's bounce better than any of the other classes so best way to learn and plenty of members to help out. |

If I was you Jake I would stick with the Blitz until you can get round the track consistently, then perhaps move on if you want (once you get competative with the Blitz you wont want to give it up :-)). You already have a competative chassis so I would spend the money on spares / electrics / tyres / tools e.t.c for that rather than another car or two. Like Mark said, the 1/10 buggies are really fragile so might get frustrating if your bouncing off pipes and other cars.
PS sorry if it sounds like im trying to sabotage peoples sales!! |
