Well after about 9 months of hibernation (since the last winter series round to be exact), a new throttle servo (again) some new clutch bearings and lots and lots of smoke and noise, the 8ight is up and running again!!!

Although the electrics are great and sooo conveniant, there is still something about engines that made me come back before the nights close in and we are back indoors again.

I think now Ill give some much needed attention to the Blitz ready for the next shootout round.

See you on the track!

Good timing, Think this is the last week we can realistically run nitros tbh Tom, they have already lost a round with light and the 3rd round last week was too dark to be safe IMO

would run mine on tueday but replacing all the bearings at the minute so its back in kit form laid out on my work bench, just waiting for a screw set and bearing kit to arrive, and a new chassis for it, you still fancy doing some "on tour" nitro racing tom?

I tried that - and it's been such a pain- so will look to next spring for running nitro on a full time basis again.
It'll be electric for the rest of this season and through winter indoors- When we're back outdoors in 2012 I shall splash out on a nice new buggy.

Hopefully there will be a nice shiny new track for you lot to race on by opening up time next spring,

Surprised how many of you stayed with electrics all summer when you have the slow noisy things gathering cobwebs!

1/8th electric is the future!
