Buggies are something you push young kids around in... Ask the werthers specialist!

Buggys are toy offroad vehicles we smash to pieces racing on plastic grass against other geeky men/woman!

i know you are probably better at the first one than the second Chris, plus you are yet to litter the proper class races with your wheel nuts and flying rims... but sort it out!

losi are making something similar as a short course buggy which this looks very like if you look at the wheels, they are 2.2 outer 3.0 inner, should be a good class, handle like a short course but without the massive parachute of a body

I may stand to be corrected but I think that Lewis has already put an order in for A1 Hobbies......

They look the part but its a class that will never happen unfortunately, won't suit racing due to exposed wheels/suspension... just think how battered the SCT bodies get after a few meetings!

Kyosho have had one out for well over a year

Horizon are only importing 30 of the Losi XXX-SCB's into UK... in comparison to 800 TLR 22's that were sold in this country between march and september the numbers speak for themselves.

They don't seem to have taken off in USA either which is surprising.

The Losi one will be very good, its the same as my 2WD truck with just a slimmer chassis, body and bumper changes... the truck handles really well, the best in class i reckon after trying pretty much all of them available so far.

If you want a buggy get a proper one, for less than £200 you can get a full blown proper engineered competition car with all the top grade kit on it, which is less than the RTR SCB's which are plastic and sloppy until the TLR tuning kit is fitted.

Aren't they very similar to 'proper buggies' as you've put......exposed wheels and suspension? Nothing like contradicting yourself to make you seem a bit of a chimp chump !

Seems a case of 'Hello, I'm Frecklychimp, let me pi55 on your bonfire'

Not really... real buggies are built to take power and handle, the SCB's are not and they won't take the pounding amateurs will give them!

May lool Awsome Steve but it is the most inpratcial car ever made, who races 1/7? Who lives near a race track to use it? The smallest stone will smash the chassis, if you don't have a iPod or iPhone then you cant unlock it's top speed, good idea but it won't work, especially at the price it is

I would still like to see a bike go round the track? It would be cool to get a motocross class going

looks very interesting. It will be well built and probably quite reliable. Traxxas makes good stuff, but not the most competive cars especially in this country.

I guess it bascially a marketing stunt so Traxxas can say they are the first manufacturer to break the 100mph barrier with an RTR car.

It's aimed at those guys that have a big pile of spare cash and want to say to their mates that their RC car goes over a ton!
