Nope, used the wrong paint on the body shell and the other 3 are a result of going more or less top speed into the tabletop at the back (the one with the dboots sign) and disappears behind the sign and ended up like that |

Driving purposely flat out into an obstacle like that is neither big, clever, safe or funny... Your photos show why you shouldn't do it for your wallets sake... The other reasons are the safety of marshals on track, damage to other racers property, damage to the track furniture or damage to the rented venue/property.
The hobby is about the skill of control and racecraft, the obstacles are there to test that skill, not to arse about on and risk everything above.
The reason there is no thread like this already is because breaking a car is showing a lack of skill and is seen as embarrassing... It would also be full of pictures of a Blitz with a wheel missing or Hong Nor trucks with broken front bumpers which would get boring

heck you made a good job of that one! Chimpy has got a point to a certain degree at end of the day marshalls can get hit and to take a sct flat out in the side of the head might just upset someone! But, alot of people do try and clear that jump far to quickly (me included sorry!)especially in its current location. But I also remember it wasnt that long ago that chimpy was hitting the wall of death flat out to see how high he could make his sct go! lets face it we all like to mess about on the jumps. so try not to take comments to much to heart, chimps not good at "gently gently"!! if you want to mess about on the jumps just do it when tracks quiet and your car is no risk to anyone. |

True, shamed and guilty as charged your honour!
Difference is i've been doing this hobby for long enough to know better, can control a full fat car within reason, have full knowledge and competent use of race craft/ track etiquette whilst racing and the main important one or the lesson and excuse... my playing was after a race had finished with nobody anywhere near the 'stunts' to get injured... it was actually an impulse strength test on the car more than anything and baby Jesus told me to do it!
plus cos i know its not big or clever i'm not bragging about it!
A newbie to the hobby with a 8.5T motor in a 2wd SCT and being not capable of doing a single clean lap in a 5 min run is a dangerous combination when they decide to play Evel Knievel Stuntman Chimp games!

I know that 8.5 turns is too fast and I'm goin to put a 3300kv in it next week but we are all new to the hobby at some point and make mistakes, I have improved from my first race and I know where im going wrong, it's the tabletop at the back that I get a bit carried away with, I am going to slow down alot for that jump next week and then the laps should be clean |
